Evo-Stik League Premier club Matlock Town have confirmed that highly-rated 16-year-old winger Zak Brunt will spend a spell with SkyBet Championship side Sheffield United over the coming days.
The attacking midfielder joined the Gladiators from Derby County in November.
He is one of the most sought-after young prospects in the country having played for Manchester City, Derby and having spent time with Athletico Madrid in Spain.
After spending time with Matlock training as a guest player and enjoying the experience, he decided that he would like to make Causeway Lane his permanent home.
Brunt, who is also an England under-19 Futsal international, became one of the youngest players to ever play for the Gladiators when he came on in the 3-3 draw at Witton Albion on November 18th.
