With the signing deadline looming, Neil Tooth, manager of Evo-Stik League Premier strugglers Sutton Coldfield Town, has been busy looking to strengthen his squad for the final weeks of the season.
The Royals have announced that Adam Murray has joined the club for the remainder of the season.
Tooth told the club`s Pitchero website: “I am delighted to get a player of Adam’s quality in with us for the run in. He brings a wealth of experience both on and off the pitch and we will need every bit of he can offer over the six weeks.”
The vastly experienced 36-year-old has enjoyed a professional football career with Mansfield Town, Carlisle United, Torquay United, Kidderminster Harriers, Oxford United, Luton Town and Macclesfield Town, having started his career with Derby County.
More recently he has managed Mansfield, at the time being the youngest manager in the Premier League or the Football League, and then Vanarama National League North side Boston United.
Tooth has also reached agreement with both Birmingham City and AFC Telford United for Matt Timms and Louis McGrory to remain with the club until the end of the season.
