Evo-Stik League South Premier club Biggleswade Town have announced their first new player signing in Kieron Forbes.
Forbes brings a wealth of experience and at only 27, he has already represented the England C team.
A versatile central midfielder, he started his career at Watford, moving onto Wealdstone when he was released by the Hornets.
After a couple of seasons with the Stones, Forbes signed for Forest Green Rovers for whom he made over 100 appearances in the Conference.
Whilst at Rovers he was capped four times by the England C team, despite spending most of last season on loan at Aldershot Town.
He joined Maidenhead United in August 2015 and won promotion to the Vanarama National League with the Magpies a year ago.
However, instead of taking his place in the top level of non-League football, Forbes opted to move to Biggleswade`s league rivals Farnborough.
Manager Lee Allinson is delighted to bring a player of Forbes` ability to Langford Road as the first of many signings to his new squad.
