Hednesford Town, who will be competing in the Evo-Stik Southern League Central next season, have confirmed that the management team of Rob Smith and Larry Chambers have agreed new deals for the 2018/19 campaign.
As the Pitmen start preparing for life in the new division, the duo, who returned to the club in September 2017, will again be leading the club forward.
This news comes after the management team held a meeting with chairman Steve Price this week to discuss their future.
Smith told the club`s official website: “I’ve still got lots of ambition to do well with this football club and we really think that we can do that. Yes, it is going to be a new and interesting competition for us but with a competitive budget behind us I feel as if we can push on.
“There is though, a big re-building job that is now required as the way that the last season tailed off just simply wasn’t good enough.
“I’d like to just say to supporters, whether it be those who have stuck with us or may have stopped following the club for whatever reason, please do come and get behind us when we return to action in the summer.”
Along with coach Mark Swann the team will now begin assembling their squad for the new campaign.
