Busy Evo-Stik League South Premier club St Ives Town have announced the return of Declan Rogers.

Rogers, another member of the Saints promotion-winning team of 2015/16 was registered ahead of Saturday’s postponed game at Chesham United.

Since leaving the club Rogers joined St Neots Town, scoring an impressive 15 goals before sustaining a couple of injuries which put a halt to his
season.

This season he has been playing for Eynesbury Rovers where he has hit double figures in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.

Another former promotion-winner, Danny Watson, has also returned to Ives from Evo-Stik League South East side Barton Rovers.

Watson made an outstanding contribution during the club`s promotion season.

He finished top goalscorer that season, netting an impressive 19 goals including a wonderful volley against AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the last few minutes of the play-off final.

Following his departure in the summer of 2015/16, Watson joined Bedford Town before moving to Barton Rovers midway through that season.

His goals for Barton helped them to reach the play-off final before they were beaten in that game by Farnborough.

This season he signed for St Neots before returning to Barton Rovers.

They follow the earlier signings Ben Baker on loan from league rivals Kettering Town and Luke Warner-Eley from Evo-Stik League South East side Uxbridge.
