Reds Lose Earl

Workington AFC boss Lee Andrews’ squad options have been reduced following the announcement that midfielder James Earl has left the Evo-Stik League Premier club.

Originally with the Reds briefly in 2008, Earl returned to Borough Park in 2015 and, for the past two and a half seasons, has been an important member of the squad.

During that period, he has made seventy-nine starts for the team and been named as a substitute on a further thirty occasions. He has netted 7 goals whilst on first-team duty.

In recent weeks, he hasn’t had much game-time and last had a taste of the action in the Buildbase FA Trophy tie at Weston-super-Mare last month.
