Bostik league Premier club Margate have announced that midfielder James Rogers has signed a new contract extending his stay at Hartsdown Park for the 2018/19 campaign.
Putting pen-to-paper on Tuesday afternoon, Rogers admitted he is already counting down to the start of a new season with The Gate.
He told the club`s official website: “I’m pleased to sign for another year as I’ve really enjoyed my time since joining the club. I want to be a part of things moving forwards and making sure we build on the progress made last season.
“The fans have been fantastic since I signed, and the club as a whole has lots of exciting things going on. So, I’m already looking forward to a good pre-season with the boys and pushing on from there.”
The club can also confirm Matt Bodkin has been released, while Chris Sessegnon has announced plans to concentrate on getting back to full match fitness before pledging his commitment to any club for next season.
