Midfielder James Risbrough has had his contract with Evo-Stik League Premier club Whitby Town terminated by mutual consent.
The attack-minded player has found first-team opportunities since picking up an injury against Grantham Town in August.
Twenty-five-year-old Risbrough signed for the Seasiders early in August from Swedish side Ytterhogdals IK, after impressing whilst on trial in pre-season, with energetic displays against Blyth Spartans and South Shields.
Before moving to Sweden, Risbrough had spells with Guisborough Town and Spennymoor Town.
