Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Worsbrough Bridge Athletic have announced that former Goole AFC joint boss David Taylor has joined as the new assistant-manager to Lee Morris.

A former Leeds United, Barnsley and Buxton midfielder, Taylor joined Goole in the summer of 2012 as one of former manager John Reed’s first signings and was players` player of the year for 2014/15.

Taylor, who played under Morris at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds, was one of the youngest managers in the country when he got the Goole job alongside Derry Robson in November 2016.

Taylor joins the Briggers after recent departures of James Kay and Rhys Meynell.
