Evo-Stik League Premier club Whitby Town have announced the signing of defenders Paul Roddam and Jassem Sukar.

Former Guisborough Town player Roddam signs for the Blues on dual registration terms with Ebac Northern League First Division side Stockton Town.

Roddam can also play in a more advanced role in central midfield, something of which manager Chris Hardy may be expected to make use of with the suspension of Steven Snaith.

Sukar has done lots of travelling, despite only being at the age of 21.

So far, he has represented Sunderland, Dundee and York City as well as loan stints with Arbroath, Peterhead and Brechin City.

They will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Coalville Town.
