Tommy Lawson, manager of Evo-Stik League Premier club Marine AFC, has added Tom Field and Dominic Reid to his squad.

Field is a vastly experienced 32-year-old central midfielder who joins the Mariners from Welsh Premier side Connah’s Quay Nomads subject to international clearance.

He began his career at Everton and has gone on to play for a number of clubs in England and Wales, including Stalybridge Celtic, Vauxhall Motors, Leigh Genesis, AFC Telford United, Droylsden, Northwich Victoria, Airbus UK Broughton, Chorley, Stockport County and Bangor City.

During his time at Airbus he was a key member of the team that qualified for the Europa League, netting 25 goals in ninety-six appearances for the Wingmakers.

Reid is a striker who joins the Mariners after being with Evo-Stik League North neighbours Prescot Cables last season.

A product of the Rochdale youth set-up, Reid has also had a spells with Hallmark Security League side Bootle AFC and Vanarama National League outfit AFC Fylde.
