Two In – One Out At St Ives

Evo-Stik League South Premier club St Ives Town have announced two new signings ahead of tomorrow`s away game at Chesham United.

Young winger Ben Baker joins on an initial month`s loan from high-flying league rivals Kettering Town.

Baker, who came through the Poppies youth team, will be no stranger to St Ives supporters who travelled on Tuesday night to Latimer Park when he performed really well as a second half substitute.

Left-back Luke Warner-Eley joins the club from Evo-Stik League South East side Uxbridge.

Warner-Eley joined the Reds earlier this season from Barton Rovers and made thirteen appearances.

Originally with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Levestock Green, he has also been on the books at Potters Bar Town and Royston Town.

Departing the Saints is Ben Seymour Shove, who has spent three-and-half successful years at the club, scoring some very important goals – none more so than that spectacular winner in extra-time of the play-off final against AF Rushden & Diamonds.

Seymour-Shove has made the decision to move on as he feels the time has come for a new challenge.
