Altrincham have signed winger Theo Bailey-Jones from Evo-Stik League Premier rivals Stalybridge Celtic.

Bailey-Jones was an used substitute against Altrincham last Saturday when Celtic beat the league leaders 2-1.

He came through the youth ranks at Manchester City, with spells at Crewe Alexandra and Northwich Victoria on his release.

While with Irlam Town, he had a trial at Wrexham, impressing enough to be offered a first-team place in 2013, going on to make thirty appearances for the Dragons.

His first loan spell was with Colwyn Bay, but after a successful loan spell with Macclesfield Town in 2015 he made the move permanent, going onto make nine appearances.

He joined Stalybridge in August 2017 and the 23-year-old made thirty-five appearances, scoring 9 goals.
