Total Motion Midland League Premier Division club Worcester City have moved quickly to secure the signature of three players in Gowan Stares, Tom Fishwick and Yannick Gomes.

Stares has signed from Evo-Stik League South Premier neighbours Redditch United and plays either at centre-half or central midfield and following the departures of both Wayne Thomas and Brad Birch recently, he comes in as an option in both areas.

Returning to the club is centre-back Tom Fishwick, who needs no introduction to City supporters having been with the club earlier this season.

Fishwick’s registration has been transferred from league rivals Coleshill Town but he also remains on dual registration terms with Redditch where he has been featuring regularly recently under new manager Tim Harris.

Midfielder Gomes joins from league rivals Highgate United.

He is a forward-thinking and powerful attacking midfielder who had earlier been registered with Highgate but also plays for Kidderminster Harriers` under-23 side.

Gomes had also played earlier this season for Evo-Stik League Premier side Stourbridge and Vanarama National League North outfit North Ferriby United.
