Only four games survived the weather in the Bostik League South on Saturday, with Corinthian-Casuals moving into second spot after a 3-0 win at bottom-markers Shoreham.

Casuals led at the Taxi-Link Community Ground through Max Oldham`s 39th minute goal when the Mussels were reduced to ten-men with the dismissal of Tadley Bromage.

Gabriel Odunaike doubled the visitors` lead on 77 minutes and Oldham`s second 4 minutes later made it game over.

Walton Casuals were looking to move into fourth spot when they travelled to Hastings United`s Pilot Field.

But they came home empty-handed after Davide Rodari`s goal on the hour-mark won it for United.

Phoenix Sports and VCD Athletic were the days other winners, both beating teams near the foot of the table.

Sports won by the odd goal in five at the Homelands against Ashford United.

Tony Robinson`s 17th minute opener for the visitors was cancelled out by Dean Grant 4 minutes later.

Conrad Lee restored Sports` lead after 28 minutes, only for Sid Sollis to make it 2-2 just 5 minutes before the break.

Ashley Probets` penalty on 67 minutes put the visitors back in front for a third time, and this time they held on, the Nuts & Bolts not being helped by the dismissal of Jahmal Howlett-Mundle for a second bookable offence 5 minutes from the end of normal time.

There were two sendings-off at Oakwood as VCD beat East Grinstead Town 2-1.

The Wasps took an early 4th minute lead through Alex Gaggin but had Sam Rolph shown a straight red card in the 28th minute – Alfie Cue punishing them further by netting the rebound after Dan Smith had saved Warren Mfula`s resulting penalty.

Mike Wilson followed Rolph for a very early shower when he was shown a second yellow card with only 36 minutes gone on the clock.

Cue eventually beat the nine-men a second time in the 63rd minute to seal victory.
