Third-placed Stourbridge moved to within a point of second-placed Nantwich Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division after earning a late point at Keys Park against mid-table Hednesford Town on Monday night.
Stourbridge will be disappointed, however, not to have taken maximum points.
The Pitmen’s opening goal of the night on 68 minutes came against the run of play, Danny Glover turning the ball in from Remeao Hutton’s teasing low cross.
But the Glassboys equalised 7 minutes from time, courtesy of an exquisite Luke Benbow free-kick to salvage a deserved point.
Stourbridge hold a four-point lead on the teams chasing a top five spot, but they have games in hand on Gary Hackett`s side.
