There were just a couple of games surviving the weather in the Bostik League Premier on Tuesday night.
Fifth-placed Hendon had the opportunity to move to within three points of fourth-placed Billericay Town when they made the trip to Moatside to take on mid-table Merstham.
But the Greens had to be content with a share of the spoils after a 1-1 draw, despite taking a 20th minute lead through a Niko Muir penalty.
Simon Cooper pulled the Moatsiders back on level terms 6 minutes before the break.
The other game saw Thurrock move into twelfth spot after a comfortable 4-1 Ship Lane win over second-bottom Tooting & Mitcham United.
Charlie Stimson gave his father Mark`s side the lead right on the stroke of half-time.
The Terrors were back on level terms though 10 minutes after the break, thanks to a Peter Wedgeworth penalty.
But Joel Nouble restored Thurrock`s lead with 20 minutes to go and then Stimson bagged his second 9 minutes later, with Ronnie Winn adding a fourth with 5 minutes to go.
