Margate have announced that midfielder Orlando Smith has left the Bostik League Premier club.
The 29-year-old, who joined in the summer after spells with Maidstone United and Metropolitan Police, played seventeen times for the Blues, scoring twice, once at Kings Langley in the Emirates FA Cup and the other in a 5-0 away win at Worthing in September.
Manager Steve Watt wished Smith well for the future and thanked him for his efforts at Hartsdown Park: “Orlando’s efforts have been first class. He worked hard for his opportunities and impressed me with his work rate but unfortunately he leaves us with our best wishes.
“We are working hard on bringing in some fresh faces with quality over the next few days”.
