York City have revealed that midfielder Daniel Nti has this morning left the Vanarama National League club by mutual consent.
The midfielder signed at the start of the season, made sixteen appearances for the Minstermen this campaign.
The 6ft attacker began his senior career with Midland League outfit Loughborough University and bagged 49 goals in his second season with the club, before Worcester City of the National League North snapped him up in 2013.
Nti continued his fine form in front of goal with the Blues, netting 16 goals in his first campaign, while also collecting the club’s young player of the year and top goalscorer awards.
Goals continued to flow in his second season in the sixth tier of English football, as he scored 15 throughout the campaign, including a strike against League One outfit Scunthorpe United in the Second Round of the FA Cup.
The winger once again hit double figures last season and in total, made 130 starts for Worcester, scoring 44 goals and achieving 26 assists.
