Weymouth Goalkeeper Scores Incredible Winning Goal On Debut

When AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers, on loan at Evo-Stik South side Weymouth, pulled on the number 1 shirt on Saturday, little did he know the debut he was about to have.

Bishop Stortford struck first but a brace from the Terras’ Ben Thomson turned things around although Darren Foxley equalised in the second half.

And then came the extraordinary moment as Travers spotted Stortford goalkeeper Nikcy Eyre off his line, and fired the ball, from a free-kick in the Weymouth half, over his head for what turned out to be the match winning goal.
