There are question marks today about Darlington’s participation in Vanarama National League North playoffs.
The Quakers have released a statement after talk gathered pace that their stadium may not be fit for the step up.
They moved back to Darlington in December, but there is debate about Blackwell Meadows’ certificate.
Darlo are on track to finish in the playoffs, a point behind fourth placed Salford City and are level on points with Chorley and Stockport County.
A club statement said didn’t deny there are problems but they confirmed they are waiting on the decision of the league.
“The Board of Darlington are aware of rumours concerning whether Blackwell Meadows meets the grading requirements to allow the club to complete in the National League playoffs,” it read.
“Discussions are continuing with the National League and fans will be informed as soon as a decision is taken by the League.
“The club will make no further comment until then on any of its media outlets”
