The sold out signs have today gone up as Ebbsfleet United. They prepare to host Chelmsford City on Saturday for a place in the National League.

The two teams meet at Stonebridge Road this weekend in the winner-takes-all playoff final.

If you want to see the game but don’t hold a ticket, sadly you can’t – they’ve all been snapped up!

United have a score to settle after falling short in the playoff final against Maidstone United a year ago, pictured above.

Manager Daryl McMahon says his team are mentally stronger than 12 months ago and they progressed by beating Hampton and Richmond Boro 2-1 in both semi-final.

Chelmsford have character themselves and Rod Stringer has kept his team in the top five all season.

Winning at Dartford in their second leg, the Clarets cannot be discounted. They, according to their manager, know how to rise to the big occasion.

Hear a preview of the final below.
