Forward Reece Styche has been re-called from his loan spell with Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Town and had his contract with National League club Gateshead cancelled by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old has spent the past two months on loan at Nuneaton and won every match in which he featured, scoring his only goal for the club in a 2-1 victory over Stalybridge Celtic last month.
Styche`s only two goals for the Tynesiders came in a 4-1 win at Braintree Town earlier in the season. His last appearance for the club was as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with his former club Macclesfield Town on November 22nd.
In total, the Gibraltar international made nineteen appearances during his time on Tyneside with thirteen of those coming from the bench.
Now the club and player have made the mutual decision to cut the striker`s loan deal short before releasing him and allowing him to find a new permanent club.
