St Ives Town have announced that forward Danny Kelly signed a one year contract with the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club.
The former Republic of Ireland Youth international skipper names Cambridge United, Peterborough United, Histon, Norwich City and Cambridge City amongst his former clubs.
With lots of interest from other clubs at the same level, the Saints are delighted that Kelly has decided to remain and to be part of helping the club progress. After an impressive first season, we are looking forward to an even better second.
St Ives have, however, said farewell to Liam McDevitt, who has made the decision to move on to neighbours St Neots Town.

Manager Ricky Marheineke said: “I’m chuffed Danny has agreed to stay at the club. He’s a big player for us both on and off the pitch. Danny contributed brilliantly last year and I’m confident he will have an even bigger impact this year.
“I wish Liam all the very best for the future. I would like to thank him personally for his contribution and the part he played in our successful first season in the Southern Premier Division. Liam is a great lad and I have no doubt we will stay in contact”.
