Jamie Coyle, manager of Vanarama National League South club Welling United, has signed striker Alfie Pavey and defender Ian Gayle.
Twenty-one-year-old Pavey moves to Park View Road from Sky Bet Championship new boys Millwall.
The 6`1” frontman made the Millwall first-team while at the New Den and also played for Aldershot Town and Bromley in the National League.
Pavey came through the youth ranks at Maidstone United and scored over 100 goals in one season for the young Stones.

Coyle said: “I’m delighted to have signed Alfie. He is a hard-working centre-forward who has made ten appearances for Millwall’s first-team at the tender age of 21. He made his debut in the Championship against Wolves when he was 19. He also has had experience playing in the league above for Aldershot, Bromley and Barnet. He is another player that is hungry to succeed and adds more quality to the squad already assembled,”
Coyle has also signed 24-year-old centre-back Gayle from new league rivals Braintree Town.
Gayle is an ex-Wing having made sixteen appearances, scoring 2 goals in 2016 when on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge.
The defender made twenty-two appearances last season for Braintree.
The Wings boss added: “Delighted Ian has agreed to sign next year. I have worked with Ian before when he was in my academy at Dartford and he is another player that has experience playing in the league above. He is a quick, strong and aggressive defender who is also a threat in the opposition’s box”.
