Chelmsford City have signed talented striker Louie Theophanous from Vanarama National League South rivals St Albans City.
The 25-year-old frontman, who also works as a body double to Cristiano Ronaldo in his Nike adverts, initially linked up with St Albans from Farnborough in the summer of 2015.
This season, Theophanous has found the net on no less than 22 occasions and is currently one of the division’s top marksman.
Speaking about his latest addition to the squad, Clarets manager Rod Stringer said: “We are playing some good football at the moment, but perhaps aren’t as potent as we should be. Louie certainly knows where the goal is. We want to ensure a place in the play-offs, and indeed, finish the season as strongly as possible.
“I think the supporters will be pleased to see that we are serious about achieving our targets. I believe Louie can play a big part in helping us towards where we want to be”.
