Winger Darius Palma has joined Evo-Stik League South club Kidsgrove Athletic on loan from Evo-Stik League Premier side Altrincham.

Having progressed through the Altrincham youth and reserves system, the 19-year-old pacey winger made his first-team debut as a substitute at Macclesfield Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy in January 2017.

His league debut followed later that season at Darlington in the Vanarama National League North.

Palma has made one first-team start this season, against Mossley AFC in the Integro Cup, as well as two more appearances from the bench.

Kidsgrove have also signed defender Alex Lingard from Alty`s league rivals Rushall Olympic.

Lingard joined The Pics in September and was the man of the match on his debut.

He is a 19-year-old left-back who was a professional at Wigan Athletic before being released at the end of last season.

Lingard joined the Latics as a 9-year-old and was a ball boy at the DW Stadium, progressing through their youth system and featuring regularly for their under-18 and development sides.

He joined Rushall from Nantwich Town, where he moved to following his release.
