Louis Langdown, manager of Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West club AFC Totton, has added Jack Masterton to his squad from Vanarama National League side Eastleigh.
At 20 years old, Masterton represents a player with a big future and came highly-recommended by current Eastleigh boss Richard Hill and former AFC Totton favourite Michael Green, with both offering glowing references.
Masterton has had a sprinkling of National league South experience with Whitehawk and Gosport Borough last season while also marking his Eastleigh debut against Solihull Moors in the National League.
Great signing. Great lad and a hell of a player. https://t.co/EYqGJEW8oG

A gifted player that came through the academy system at Southampton, Masterton is equally comfortable operating at full-back or in midfield.
Langdown said: “He reminds me of a young Adam Wilde, has a wonderful left foot and rarely looks flustered on the ball.
“Jack is an excellent footballer and he’s come to us, like others, to get a run of games under his belt. He is a talented footballer who with a strong season behind him at Southern League Level can kick on and move back up the football Pyramid. He’s also a great lad off the pitch and will fit into our squad perfectly”.
