Vanarama National League North club Tamworth, having lost striker Danny Newton to Stevenage earlier today, have snapped up Callum Powell on a permanent basis.
The 21-year-old joined The Lambs on loan from National League side Wrexham in March, scoring his first goal on the final day of last season.
Born in Coventry, Powell was a graduate of the Northampton Town academy, before heading to Canada.
He returned to the UK in 2015, starring for Rugby Town where his impressive performances earned him a move to the National League.
He featured for Wrexham on twenty-four occasions, scoring twice.
Goal from Saturday, looking forward to coming back better next season ????⚽️ pic.twitter.com/H3N751ghrN
