Robbie Nightingale, manager of Evo-Stik League South East club Cambridge City, signed Mason Spence from league rivals Biggleswade Town.
Spence, 22, is a full-back but can also play in midfield.
He joins City after a brief spell with the Waders from where he signed earlier this summer from Hitchin Town.
He has also had spells with Dunstable Town, Chelmsford City, Hayes & Yeading United and St Neots Town as well as featuring for the Welsh under-19 side during the 2012/13 season.
Spence made his debut for City in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round win against Stamford AFC.
Was nice to play a competitive game of football tonight, win, clean sheet and in the hat for next round ????
