Steve Davis hopes Leyton Orient’s season was kick started on Saturday as they ended their poor run at Wrexham.
The under-pressure manager was a relieved man after his side twice battled back to draw 2-2 at the Racecourse Ground.
Now he wants more of what he saw in north Wales as Orient look to climb away from trouble near the foot of the table.
He said: “There’s evidence there that the players have the battling qualities we need to show.
Great spirit today. We all stuck together. Needless to say fans were amazing once again ⚽️❤️ #LOFC

“I was absolutely delighted that we kept at it and kept going, the attitude was great. We battled and we kept going.
“We have done things we haven’t been doing lately and we dug in. The key was our approach and the players didn’t let anyone down.”
Davis added: “With the problems we have had, a lot of people would have expected things to be comfortable after Wrexham went ahead so early on.
“But we didn’t give up. We showed our fans that we can do the dirty side of the game and I’m happy.”
