Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard played down the significance of the club’s win at leaders Dover Athletic last night.
The Wood boss was delighted with the three points, adding to a great 2-0 win over Leyton Orient on Saturday.
The 1-0 victory at the Crabble launched the Herts club into fourth place in what is looking like a division anyone can win this season.
But Garrard isn’t getting carried away. The Wood manager says it “just another game ticked off”.

Garrard said: “Back-to-back clean sheets is what makes me happiest. I think the manner in which they play, it was always going to be tough coming down to Dover.
“We know what they are about; they are relentless for 95 minutes, they put balls in your box and they ask questions of you.
“I feel that our back three, as well as Mark Ricketts, Grant Smith, Kane Smith, Danny Woodards and everyone on that pitch, answered everything that Dover wanted to offer up top,” Garrard told the club’s website.
“We have got another 36 to play, and hopefully we can continue doing what we are doing at the minute.”
