Vanarama National League North strugglers Worcester City have signed Gambia international striker Pa Sulay Njie.
Born in Slough, Njie has Gambian parents and after spells playing at Hinckley Town, Nuneaton Town, Coventry City and Shrewsbury Town he moved to West Africa to play for Real de Banjul.
He also had a trial with Premier League side Stoke City in 2012.
Now 24, he has previously played age group football for Gambia, playing in the Scorpions’ under-17 and under-20 teams and now has five full international caps.
Njie, who possessed a Sports Science Graduate with a BA Hons Degree, was on trial with Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham Town earlier this season.
