Blue Square Bet Premeir club Luton Town have confirmed they have extended defender Simon Ainge’s loan from….
….Conference North side Guiseley until the end of December with a view to a permanent transfer in January.
The 24-year-old, who began his career at Bradford City, has started all three games since his arrival and netted his first goal in the 3-2 defeat to Braintree Town on Tuesday night.
Luton manager Paul Buckle said: “When somebody comes in you’re not going to give everything away straight away.
“It was a month’s loan, but we always intended on taking the boy.
“We had a look and it was evident straight away that he was everything we were looking for in a centre half.”
Guiseley confirmed that they have agreed in principle to a permanent transfer subject to the clubs agreeing a fee as well as personal terms being settled between the player and Luton.
