Dave Anderson, manager of Ryman League Premier Division club Harrow Borough, has moved quickly to fill the problem….
….goalkeeping position by securing the services of James Warrington.
Warrington, 21, was a regular between the sticks for Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central side Slough Town last season, making thirty-seven appearances for the Rebels, who so narrowly missed out on promotion at the end of the season.
As a fully qualified physiotherapist he may well bring expertise with him in more than one capacity!
The goalkeeping position has been a problem for Boro during Anderson’s tenure as manager with the loan signings filling the position for most of the last two seasons.
Meanwhile, three of last season’s impressive younger talent have committed their futures to the club with midfielder Jordan Berry, midfielder/striker Shaun Lucien and central defender Michael Peacock all signing contracts to add to striker Simeon Akinola, who had already signed on the dotted line.
