Hallmark Security League Premier Division newcomers Barnton FC have announced the signing of three more new players.
They have secured the prized signing of goalkeeper Matt Conkie.
The experienced 32-year-old is a former Congleton Town, Alsager Town, Winsford United and Chester City keeper who was with 1874 Northwich last season.
He is recognised as being one of the top goalkeepers in the North West Counties League and this is a major boost for the club as they prepare for the new season after winning promotion.
Barnton have also snapped up former Eccleshall, 1874 Northwich, Witton Albion and Winsford United defender Jack McKay.
McKay, who can play full-back and centre-half, will prove an excellent acquisition to the squad, as will ex-Eccleshall, Rudheath Social and Tarporley Vics midfielder Peter Aidely.
Aidely’s energy and endeavour will be a major asset to the squad.
