There were only three games in the Skrill North on Saturday due to the FA Trophy, with Brackley Town missing the….
…..opportunity to head the table over the weekend after being held to a 2-2 draw by lower mid-table Colwyn Bay at the Red Lion Foods Stadium.
Jon Brady`s side got off to a great start when Steve Diggin put them in front after only 2 minutes.
But battling Bay eventually equalised after 36 minutes from a Cameron Darkwah penalty.
And the hosts looked like they`d taken all three points when Marc Williams shot them in ahead with less than 4 minutes of normal time remaining.
However, the Northamptonshire side grabbed a stoppage time leveller through substitute Owen Story to move into third place in the table and make it a four-way tie on thirty-two points with leaders Hednesford Town, second-placed Altrincham, fourth-places North Ferriby United and Boston United in fifth.
Solihull Moors are just two points further back and are now in seventh spot after a 3-0 win over Harrogate Town at Damson Park.
Omar Bogle gave Moors a 24th minute lead, but it wasn`t until 20 minutes from time that Ryan Beswick grabbed their second.
And with 3 minutes to go Bogle added his second and Moors` third to make sure of victory.
Oxford City overcame Vauxhall Motors by the same scoreline at Marsh Lane to move up to eighteenth in the table.
It was goalless at the break, but 8 minutes after half-time Andy Ballard gave City the breakthrough.
Mike Symons quickly doubled that 3 minutes later and the on-loan Kayden Jackson added a third on 63 minutes.
