Southern League Premier Division club Chippenham Town have announced the signing of two strikers in Darren Edwards and George Pawley.
Edwards had only been revealed as a coup signing for Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Cadbury Heath earlier this week.
Although Bristol-born, Edwards actually started out at Bury before going on to enjoy a goal-laden career in the non-League game back nearer home.
He had spells with Yate Town, Bristol Manor Farm, Tiverton Town, Bath City, for whom he made 185 appearances and scored 59 goals, Cinderford Town, Gloucester City, where he was also highly successful with 54 goals in 137 games, and several stints at Mangotsfield United, who he re-joined last January.
Pawley is a former Bolton Wanderers reserve player who left the Reebok Stadium at the end of 2009.
He then had spells with Radstock Town and Frome Town and spent pre-season with Western League Division One side Bradford Town.
