Goalkeeper Matt Ingram has joined Blue Square Bet North club Oxford City on a three-month youth loan from npower….

The 18-year-played four games at Hayes & Yeading United earlier this season, but his stay at Kingfield was cut short because of a minor knee injury.

Now fully recovered, Ingram has spent the last four games on the Wanderers’ bench as understudy to Nikki Bull.

Ingram is a highly-rated keeper who signed his first professional contract at Adams Park in May 2012 after impressing much as a youngster including being selected for an England goalkeeping training camp in January 2011.

As well as Hayes & Yeading, he has also spent time on loan with Lewes.

He could make his debut on Saturday when City host Stalybridge Celtic.

There is a 24-hour recall clause in the deal which becomes active after 28 days.
