Vanarama National League club Dagenham & Redbridge have signed striker Shomari Barnwell from Ryman League Division One North side Bowers & Pitsea.
Barnwell, who has hit 5 goals in fifteen games this season, has put pen-to-paper on a deal that will see 21-year-old make the step up to the National League.
Barnwell joined Bowers from league rivals Romford.
He had joined Boro from Essex Senior League outfit Clapton during the pre-season of 2015/16 but was sent back to them on loan after a few games due to lack of goals and game time
Barnwell’s displays for Bowers this season had also alerted clubs in the Football League, with the young striker having had a trial with League Two side Cambridge United earlier this month.
