Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Stamford AFC have strengthened their injury hit squad by bringing in two more additions.

Joining the club is Antigua & Barbudan international Jorrin John and French defender Maxence Loose.

John has previously been on the books of Aston Villa and Leicester City.

He is a versatile player who can play out wide, as an attacking midfielder or as a central striker.

He spent three years playing in Thailand for the Premier League champions Muangthong United and Suphanburi.

He also has international experience, having represented England at under-16, 17, 18 and under-19 levels.

The midfielder, 24, was one of former Nuneaton Town manager Brian Reid’s signings during the summer, but has failed to cement a place in the starting eleven and was released by the Vanarama Conference side earlier this week.

Loose is a French defender who has been training with the club for the past month.

He turned out for Lesquin and Marquette in his home country.

He has just had his international clearance and got some much-needed game time with ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division side Harborough Town this week.
