Vanarama Conference club Macclesfield Town have confirmed they have a reached an agreement for the loan signing of forward Kristian Dennis.
The 25-year-old has agreed a season-long switch to the Moss Rose and comes back to the club where he made four League Two appearances back in the 2009/10 season.
Dennis would score the winning goal in a game against Barnet in that spell with the Silkmen before a move into non-League football.
After brief spells with Woodley Sports, Ashton United and Mossley AFC he enjoyed a prolific spell at Curzon Ashton, earning a move to Stockport County in 2013.
He bagged 10 goals in his first year with County, before finishing as leading scorer for the Edgerley Park club with 15 goals. But after a change of manager at County, Dennis has been allowed to move and he will now look to build on his impressive goalscoring record with the Silkmen.
Meanwhile, Danny Rowe has reached an agreement that will see him wear Silkmen colours for the upcoming campaign.
The 23-year-old has inked a new deal and becomes the second player to re-sign with Macc Town.
Rowe came through the ranks at Stockport County as a 17-year-old.
After parting ways with Stockport, Rowe enjoyed a breakthrough season in the 2012/13 campaign with Barrow AFC, where he made forty appearances and netted 7 times during his time with the Bluebirds.
Macclesfield first brought Rowe to the Moss Rose in the summer of 2013, from there he became a prominent figure in the starting line-up as he provided six assists and one goal in his debut season.
After a short spell away from the club Rowe was back with Askey’s men at the beginning of 2015, and a further eleven appearances were a huge boost in Macc’s play-off push.
