Evo-Sik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Buxton have been back in training this week following last…..

…..Saturday’s FA Cup exit in preparation for Saturday’s clash at top of the table AFC Fylde.

It has also been a busy start to the week off the pitch with the news that manager Martin McIntosh has appointed Tim Ryan has his new number two following the departure of Scott Maxfield.

Ryan has previously been manager at Chester City and also the assistant to Jim Harvey at Stalybridge Celtic and returned to the Silverlands in the summer having previously played for the Bucks in the mid-nineties.
Meanwhile, Craig King has committed to the club, signing a contract that keeps him tied to Buxton.

The attacking wide player has been in fine form this season since joining from Worksop Town in the summer and had been attracting lots of attention from rival clubs with two seven-day notices of approach being served in the last week from Skrill North sides.

King has stated that he is enjoying his football with the Bucks under McIntosh this season.
