Midland League Division Two club Droitwich Spa have announced plans for 2016/17 season – provided promotion is attained.
A groundshare deal with Bromyard Town of the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division has been agreed.
Delahay Meadow boasts a main stand seating over 100 along with further covered accommodation on the opposite side.
Floodlights are also present along with an impressive clubhouse and changing room complex, food bar and turnstiles for supporters.
In more news, coupled with the groundshare, the club have also applied to enter the FA Vase for the first time in its history – again dependant on the final league position.
This is a huge step forward for the club.
The move is a necessity to enable us to gain promotion and compete in the FA Vase as the club`s current facilities do not meet ground grading criteria.
This would hopefully be a short-term move while the necessary work is done to its current home at King George’s to bring it up to the standard required in Division One and above.
