There have been two departures from Vanarama National League club Torqua United`s Launa Windows Stadium today.

Striker Ryan Bowman has joined league rivals Gateshead for an undisclosed fee after expressing his desire to move back up north for family reasons (see separate news item).

The 23-year-old joined the club last summer and did well last term.

Meanwhile, a mutually beneficial deal has been agreed with a Sky Bet Championship club for the signing of rising star Levi Ives.

The talented youngster leaves with the club`s very best wishes.

There are various incentives in the deal for Torquay should he continue to make the progress that is expected of him.

Arriving is imposing defender Exodus Geohaghon on a one-year deal.

The bustling 30-year-old started his career as a youngster at West Bromwich Albion before serving the likes of Sutton Coldfield Town, Bromsgrove Rovers, Redditch United and Kettering Town.

It was his committed displays in the heart of the back-line that earned him a move into the Championship with Peterborough United.

Loan spells with the likes of Rotherham, Shrewsbury and Port Vale followed before he departed London Road and served Barnet, Darlington, Dagenham & Redbridge and Kidderminster Harriers.

Linking up with current Gulls boss Paul Cox at Mansfield Town in 2012/13, he played a key role as the Stags returned to The Football League.

Geohaghon ended last term with Stourbridge and he arrives at The Launa Windows Stadium determined to re-kindle his success with Cox and put his experience to good use during the campaign ahead.
