Vanarama Conference club Eastleigh have announced that, following talks with 29-year-old striker Ross Lafayette, terms have been agreed with the player and his current club Luton Town for his transfer to The Silverlake Stadium.
With Luton officials currently in Portugal at the Football League Annual General Meeting, the paperwork should be finalised on Monday on their return.
Lafayette spent some of last season on loan with Eastleigh`s league rivals Welling United and Woking whilst with Luton, for whom he made eleven appearances.
He has also played for Chesham United, Barton Rovers, Aylesbury United, Wealdstone, Burnham and Hemel Hempstead Town.
Lafayette has agreed to sign on a two-year contract with the Spitfires.
