….the title race with the signing of back-to-back UCL title-winning centre-back Jamie Stevens.
The 25-year-old skippered both Holbeach United and Spalding United to back-to-back UCL Premier Division titles in the past two seasons.
Having come through the ranks with home-town club Holbeach, Stevens enjoyed a stint in League Two with Boston United under the charge of Steve Evans.
Stevens, who also numbers Crawley Town and Northwich Victoria amongst his previous clubs, re-joined Holbeach in the summer of 2011 after leaving Conference South side Farnborough and then returned to Spalding, now members of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South, in October.
