Foresters Take a Look at Former Bull

Allan Gough and Chris Burns, joint-managers of Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division new boys Cinderford Town, will….

….have a look at an attacking midfielder released by Southern Division One South & West newcomers Hereford FC in Tuesday night’s friendly against Pegasus Juniors.

Gough was contacted by Hereford boss Peter Beadle, who recommended Carlos Moreira, an 18-year-old who spent time on trial with the Coventry City academy towards the end of the 2014/15 season.

Moreira made his full debut for Hereford as a late substitute in the 7-2 away victory at Heanor Town last season, with almost his first touch he set up Nathan Hughes for the striker’s second of the game, and Hereford’s seventh.

He has been released by the Bulls and will now bid to impress at The Causeway.

However, Cinderford will not be signing former Newport County and Merthyr Town forward Cortez Belle, who was out of their price range and has joined Taffs Well in Welsh League Division One.
