Steve Claridge, manager of Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division new boys Salisbury FC, has brought his squad up to seventeen-strong with the addition of four more confirmed signings.
Matthew Burt, George Colson, Mark Ford and Kane O’Keefe all signed deals after the AFC Bournemouth friendly last week.
Burt, 21, is a 6`2″ centre-back who began his career with Fareham Town and was with Folland Sports last season. He also played some games up front for them.
Colson, also 21, was with Newport IoW last season and will be used by Claridge primarily as a right-back.
He came through the Portsmouth academy as a midfield player and also had loan spells at Dorchester Town and Bashley.
Colson also has an eye for goal and scored the Whites` goal against Bristol Rovers. He also grabbed the first against Portland United in the 4-1 friendly win on Saturday.
Ford, scorer of Salisbury`s winner in the thrilling 2-1 win over AFC Bournemouth, has been a prolific goalscorer over several seasons.
Blandford-based Ford, 25, was with Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division neighbours Weymouth last season, and once scored all four for them in a 4-0 Southern League Cup win over Poole Town.
Midfield powerhouse O`Keefe also impressed against AFC Bournemouth.
Local boy O`Keefe, 26, was with Laverstock & Ford last season and previously with Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
He opened his scoring account for the club in the 2-0 friendly win at Dorchester Town and also netted the fourth at Portland on Saturday.
