Blue Square Bet South club Farnborough have taken young midfielder Tom Donegan on a month`s loan from Barclays Premier League Fulham.

Donegan joined Fulham in the summer of 2011 having helped former club Everton to the Academy League final winners’ trophy at his new employer’s expense.

Having stood out in that 2-1 defeat, the Cottagers moved quickly to secure the services of the talented ball-playing central midfielder as a number of other top-flight clubs looked to pounce.

Two weeks after coming in, Donegan was promoted to first-team duties by Martin Jol, and made his professional debut in a 3-1 defeat of Crusaders FC in the first leg of the second qualifying round in the UEFA Europa League.

In returning to the Development Squad, Donegan became a key player over the course of the 2011/12 season by making a number of assists and scoring vital goals.
